Hello there! I'm Jay, a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology, specializing in Active Health and Rehabilitation. My academic journey has been marked by consistent achievements, including placements on the Dean's Honor Roll and President's Honor Roll for maintaining high grade point averages. I've been passionate about Kinesiology since the beginning, and my hands-on experiences reflect this. As an Assistant Trainer for Coquitlam Senior A Lacrosse Team, I've honed skills in injury assessment and taping techniques. My Innovative Fitness Practicum allowed me to delve into personalized training approaches and pre-health screen requirements, while my time as an Empowering Steps Volunteer highlighted my commitment to helping children with diverse needs.

Beyond Kinesiology, I've cultivated a robust customer service background from my roles as Captains Helper and Ticket Seller at the Pacific National Exhibition. I am also an Casual Skating Instructor with the City of Port Coquitlam which has been a fulfilling endeavor for me, fostering young learners' skating skills while maintaining an engaging atmosphere. I've also been actively engaged in healthcare initiatives, volunteering for programs like Basics for Health and participating in Quality Improvement projects at Fraser Health.
