Marissa completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from SFU in 2010. She worked in clinical practice for several years, focusing on acute injury rehabilitation, long term disability rehabilitation, and return to work planning. In 2017 she completed her diploma in Rehabilitation and Disability Management from SFU. She has been working primarily in the field of disability management since 2016.
