Dr. Rosalin Miles is Nlha7kápmx and a member of Lytton First Nation, BC. She completed her Education, Doctoral Degree, Curriculum and Instruction, major Exercise Science, and her Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management at the University of Central Florida with International Honours.
She completed her Master’s degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in Coaching Science, at UBC, her BA degree, Physical Education major, at Trinity Western University.
Overall, Dr. Miles has a combined 38 years of experience working in the sports, fitness, education and health field in a variety of disciplines as a division one level NCAA level coach, registered Kinesiologist, Active Release Therapist, college and university instructor, Researcher, Nationally awarded Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and as a National Level athlete.
In 2017, she received her AFOA Certificate as a Professional Aboriginal Administrator. She is working within the UBC Indigenous Studies in Kinesiology program as a Research Associate. She is the founder and Executive Director for the national non-profit Indigenous Physical Activity & Cultural Circle.
