I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Extended Minor in Dance at Simon Fraser University. In addition to my degree, I have certificates in Applied Human Nutrition, Active Health and Rehabilitation and is certified with the Functional Movement Screen. After graduating I started my own company, KinDance, which focuses on educating dancers in basic nutrition, cross training, injury prevention and injury rehabilitation. I began working at Treloar Physiotherapy in 2013 in the WorkSafeBC Occupational Rehabilitiation Program and began working in Treloar's Active Rehabilitation Program in 2014. In 2019, I completed the GLA:D(TM)training course to work with individuals with osteoarthritis. I have worked with a variety of conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Graves, Diabetes, in addition to working with those recovering from car and workplace accidents. In 2021, I transitioned from clinical work to work in Disability Case Management after completing my diploma in Rehabilitation and Disability Management in 2020. I continue to work in the GLA:D(TM) program at Treloar Physiotherapy clinic educating and instructing exercises for individuals with osteoarthritis.
On my free time I enjoy hiking, camping and all things outdoors. When I find time, I like to drop in on a ballet or tap class.
